WITNEY enjoyed a 6-1 win at South Berkshire 2nd in Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1.
The west Oxfordshire side started well, opening the scoring after just 20 seconds, when Dan Wallis netted from close range.
South Berkshire equalised almost immediately, before Witney went on to dominate proceedings.
Ben Wells scored a brace, finding the net with a drag shot and a deflection.
Ben Moss then finished off a well-worked move to open up a commanding 4-1 lead at half-time.
The second period also belonged to the visitors and they added two more goals.
Jake Deacon found the net with a reverse stick hit and Moss scored his second.
They next face Ramgarhia at home on Saturday.
Witney 2nd drew 2-2 at home to Eastcote 4th in MBB&O Division 4.
Despite starting the game with only ten players, the visitors took the lead from a short corner on five minutes.
Eastcote began the second half with their full quota of players, but Witney hit back through Phil Bishop.
However, the hosts were caught out on the counter to go behind again, before Sam Hook equalised late on.
In MBB&O Division 8 West, Witney 3rd lost 3-1 to Newbury and Thatcham.
Mike Godwin scored their only goal.
