BEN Wells scored three goals as Witney came from behind to thrash visitors Ramgarhia 7-2 to keep up their promotion chase in Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1 of the South League.
Ramgarhia had all the play for the first 15 minutes and opened the scoring, before Wells set up Ben Moss for the equaliser.
Yet again, Ramgarhia set up camp in the Witney half and regained the lead from their eighth short corner, before Moss struck his second.
Goals from Ryan Fitz John and Wells put Witney 4-2 ahead at the break.
Wells added two more after the break after Ramgarhia’s heads dropped.
Witney were completely on top and Jacob Deacon completed the scoring just before the end.
Witney Ladies returned to winning ways with a stunning 6-1 win at home to Southgate in South Clubs Division 3A, thanks to a brilliant second-half display.
It was only 1-1 at half-time, Witney’s goal coming from Ellie Kearney.
But in a devastating second half, they added five more goals through Amy Williams (2), Sunny Ricketts, Hayley Dobson and Kate Oliver.
