WITNEY stretched their lead at the top of Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1 to five points with a last-gasp 2-1 victory at home to Bicester.
Ben Moss gave Witney an early lead, but Dave Sutcliffe replied with a breakaway goal for the visitors.
It looked like being a draw, before Harry Swift scored a late winner for the hosts.
Meanwhile, Witney Ladies failed to score from two penalty flicks as they lost 2-0 at home to PHC Chiswick in Division 3A of the South Clubs League.
Lucy Reading saw her first-half flick saved, while Sunny Ricketts fired wide in the second half. Chiswick’s goals came from short corners.
