SWIMMER Zoe Pearson won the top honour at the Chipping Norton Town sports awards ceremony.

Pearson, a member of the 4Shires Swimming Club, was presented with Olympic Legacy gold medal.

American footballer Grant Phillips Tebb, who plays for Oxford Saints landed the over 18 sportsperson award, while the team prize went to Chipping Norton Football Club.

The 11-17 sportsperson honour went to Brett Massey, a goalminder for the British junior ice hockey team

Town Mayor Mike Tysoe presented the Sports Award trophies and certificates for the Olympic Legacy, while the chairman of recreation, Richard Benfield, presented the award certificates.
