KATIE Nutt took on the best young talent across two continents when she represented Great Britain at the European and African Youth Championships in Sesena, Spain.

The Standlake talent came home with a bronze medal in the under 21 team event.

Nutt contributed a fifth place in the slalom, with a personal bets of 1.5 buoys on 11 metres.

She also posted a personal best of 4,400 points in the trick discipline, finishing 11th.

The 16-year-old also competed in the under 17 age group.

Another new individual record came in the jump, where she leapt 29.9m for 11th place.

Nutt, who trains at Oxford Wake and Ski Club with coach Steve Glanfield, also came sixth in the slalom and tenth in the tricks to finish eighth overall.

Her schedule continues this weekend with the National Championships in Lincoln, while she will also compete at two events in Florida in October.
