SUNNY Wallis struck twice to send Witney Ladies into the Christmas break with a stylish 5-1 win at Woking.

It avenged the 4-1 defeat to the Surrey side on the opening day of the South Clubs League Division 2 season and lifted Witney to fourth.

Wallis put the visitors in front, but Woking’s strong spell just before half-time yielded an equaliser.

It was one-way traffic after the break, though, as Witney took charge.

Hayley Dobson restored Witney’s lead and Wallis quickly added her second after an excellent run from Ellen Musson.

Lucy Reading and captain Katie Gatt completed the rout.

Wallingford Ladies also hit form, winning 6-1 at home to Oxford University 2nd.

Megan Jones hit a hat-trick to help them stay third in Trysports Three Counties League Premier 1.

Suzi Pegg, Scarlett Jones and Charlotte Satchwell also scored for Wallingford.
