OXFORD Ladies secured the South Clubs League Division 3A title after contrasting victories over the weekend.
On Saturday, second-half goals from Kim Warman and Rachel Lammey gave them a 2-1 victory at home to Oxford Hawks 2nd, whose reply came from Helen Nicholson.
Oxford wrapped up the title in style the following day, with an 8-2 thrashing of hosts Eastcote 2nd.
Floor Timmer led the way with a four-timer, their other goals coming from Christy Barnard (2), Ruth Bedford and Warman.
Witney Ladies stayed in the hunt for a top-two finish in Division 2 when they came from behind to win 4-2 at home to Havant, thanks to goals from Katie Gatt (2), Helen Backhouse and Elli Norton.
l OXFORD men won 5-1 at Eastcote in South League Regional 1 thanks to goals from Matt Janes (2), Arron Leadbeater, Si Culmer and Charlie Lamb.
Witney need two points from their final three games to secure promotion from Regional 2 following a 3-2 success at home to bogey team South Berks.
Their goals came from Ryan Fitz-John, Ben Moss and Tim Chilvers.
Wallingford 2nd are celebrating being crowned MBBO Division 3 champions following back-to-back victories – 4-1 at Sonning 3rd and 5-4 at Leighton Buzzard.
