EQUESTRIAN: Wade is on song

Witney's Jessica Wade saw off 59 rivals to win the National Petplan Open Elementary Dressage Championship at Hartpury Arena, Gloucester.

Riding FEH Tirpentwys Del Boy, the 15-year-old from Curbridge – the youngest rider in the competition – scored 68.62 per cent to see off her rivals and land the prestigious title.

“Del Boy is very straightforward to work with,” Jessica said. “I was very happy with him – he was fluent and listened to me all the way through my test.”
