HOCKEY: West Witney make last eight
West Witney Boys took part in the Under 11 Mini South Regional Hockey finals at Cranleigh School, Surrey.
West Witney qualified for the competition as Oxfordshire runners-up.
After losing 7-0 to Canterbury in their opening game, the Witney boys drew 1-1 with Maidenhead, Ben Moss scoring their goal.
A brace from Oliver Squires gave them a 2-0 win over Horsham to qualify for the quarter-finals, where they lost 5-0 to Parkside School.
