JEREMY Faulkner has become the new chairman of Oxford United supporters’ trust OxVox.
He joined the committee last year and has replaced Mark Sennett, who stood down last month.
Faulkner, who has been a U’s fan for more than 40 years, is part of a new-look set-up for OxVox, with Myles Francis the vice chairman.
The 57-year-old lives in Teesside but still attends most games.

While a detailed plan of what he wants to achieve is being drawn up, Faulkner’s focus is on a couple of key areas.
He said: “Increasing membership is a priority.
“It’s about 500 at the moment, I wouldn’t want to put a target on it but we do want to expand.
“In broad terms the trust is there for the fans and to provide an effective means of communication with the club.
“The role is as a critical best friend.
“We’re all fans and only want the best for the club, but you keep an eye on things as well.”
