OXFORD United will thank supporters for making the journey to Carlisle United on Saturday by buying laying on free refreshments.
The 544-mile round trip is the longest of the season but is vital to the side’s chances of automatic promotion.
A place in Sky Bet League One could even be secured with a win at Brunton Park, if results elsewhere go United’s way.
More than 1,200 tickets – almost half the allocation – have already been sold and Eales will reward them with a free hotdog and a drink in a specially designated pre-match pub on Saturday.
United’s chairman said: “Carlisle is the longest away trip of the season in terms of distance and comes at the end of a long season.
"It’s just a small way to thank them for their support and additionally a nice way to get everyone together.”
The event, which will also include other members of the board, will be held at the Magpie Inn, a short walk from the football ground.
The address is Victoria Road, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA1 2UE.
