OXFORD United have been drawn at home to Brighton & Hove Albion in the EFL Cup second round later this month.
The teams only met in a friendly at the Kassam Stadium last month, which the Sky Bet Championship side won 4-0.
The U’s reached tonight’s draw thanks to Liam Sercombe's 120th-minute header, which saw them beat Birmingham City 1-0 at St Andrew's last night.
It is the fifth time in seven seasons United have reached the second round stage.
The tie will be played in the week commencing August 22.
