OXFORD United have three players closing in on a return to full training, but none will travel north with the squad today.
Boss Pep Clotet received positive reports from his medical staff yesterday over the condition of Christian Ribeiro (knee), Jon Obika and Dwight Tiendalli (both hamstring).
Tomorrow’s game at Blackpool will come too soon for the trio, but they are all due to return shortly.
And with no fresh injury issues, United’s 18-man squad at Bloomfield Road will be the same as against Bradford City in their previous outing.
Clotet said: “Everyone who was available on Tuesday should be again on Saturday if nothing else happens.
“Ribs is getting much better, so might be able to do something next week.
“Dwight is already running on the pitch, so he’s recovering very quickly and Jon is feeling much better and is starting to do something on the pitch.
“He might be out with the team next Tuesday.”
