DWIGHT Tiendalli is in the frame to make a playing return when Oxford United visit Fleetwood Town this afternoon.

A hamstring injury has kept the former Netherlands international out for almost two months, but he was an unused substitute last weekend.

With Christian Ribeiro a doubt (hip), Tiendalli could be preferred at right back to Canice Carroll.

U’s boss Pep Clotet said: “I think Canice is a good player for us going forward and will have many chances.

“I think Dwight is a good player for this kind of game because they’re playing with wing backs.

“Dwight’s needed a bit more time to get his fitness OK, but he will now start performing and will show he can help us.”

Rob Hall could also be in the squad after training for ten days without any issues.

Fleetwood have a fully-fit squad and centre half Cian Bolger is back from suspension.
