BANBURY Bulls made it two wins on the bounce with a hard-fought 18-7 home victory over Dunlop.

Wing Jed Boyle was prominent early on as Banbury’s backs looked dangerous, but they failed to capitalise.

Midway through the first half, a slick move following a scrum on the Dunlop 22 ended with full back Carl Daniels scoring on the overlap.

A penalty from Ed Phillips put Bulls 8-0 up at half-time.

Boyle raced clear from halfway to finish a Banbury counter attack.

Dunlop hit back with a converted try to increase the tension, but Banbury sealed the spoils when Daniels fed James Heywood to score.
