Chinnor fly half James Cathcart is expected to be out for at least two months after breaking an arm.

The long-serving player suffered the break during a second-team game last Saturday.

“It’s a massive blow to both him and the club,” said Chinnor coach Matt Goode.

“James has been sharing the fly-half duties with Will Millett this season, and his experience will be sadly missed.”

Millett will again be in the pivotal role for Chinnor's National 2 South trip to Taunton tomorrow.

“Taunton are an abrasive team up front and are unbeaten at home this season, so it will be a big test for us,”a dded Goode, who saw his side turn on a great defensive display to beat Southend last week.

Christophe Bart’s return to the Henley Hawks ranks did not last long and he misses their National 1 clash against Fylde at Dry Leas.

The winger played his first game back after a long injury absence against Worthing last week, scoring a try in Hawks’ 32-27 victory.

But he injured himself on the process and has to sit on the sidelines again.

He is replaced by Jaryd Robinson, who returns from playing in the Dubai Sevens event.

Ryan Long is also back Dubai and plays at No 6 in place of Ryan Newman who was injured in training this week An injury to Hugo Milford Scott results in young Sam Steventon retaining his place on the bench along side the experienced Jim Hadfield This is the first meeting between the clubs for 11 years.

With the former England head coach Brian Ashton as technical adviser, Fylde, who sit once place above Hawks in the table, play fast open rugby and score lots of tries.

Oxford Harlequins have vowed to bounce back in style after their proud 11-match unbeaten run was ended by a narrow 24-19 defeat at Maidenhead last week.

The South West 1 East leaders entertain lowly Marlow tomorrow, with coach Steve Chadbone predicting a big victory.

“I think there will be some backlash after last week,” he said.

“Marlow concede a lot of tries, and we are the leading try-scorers, so without doubt, we will bounce back this week.”

Chadbone puts the defeat down to the fact that Quins were without 11 first-choice players, including six New Zealanders, who attended the Rugby League World Cup final in Manchester.

“We knew we were going to be without them,” explained Chadbone.

“The trouble was that it coincided with a whole lot of injury problems, including one for Alan Johnstone in the warm-up before the game.”

The winger suffered a groin strain which keeps him out of the Marlow contest.

Otherwise, Quins are back to full strength against the Bucks side, who are coached by John Brodley, well-known for his successful stewardship of a number of Oxfordshire clubs.

Grove, who paid dearly for the lack of a successful place-kicker in their 20-18 defeat by Reading last week, welcome back regular full back Roger Sevier for their trip to face bottom club Salisbury.
