BICESTER returned to winning ways with a 36-8 home success against Chipping Norton.

Having seen a four-match winning run ended the previous week, two tries from No 8 Dan Spencer helped Bicester back on track.

Hooker Jake Holdsworth broke two tackles to score the hosts’ opening try, converted by scrum half Steve Risbridger.

Former Bicester fly half James Blake reduced the arrears for Chippy with a penalty.

Tries from prop Dave Behan, who was later sin-binned, Spencer, and replacement Oscar Page – with his first for Bicester – plus two Risbridger conversions, made it 26-3.

Flanker Tom Phillips went over for Chippy, but tries from centre Chris Harley and Spencer wrapped it up for Bicester.

Littlemore remain second from bottom after a 55-17 defeat at Slough.

Gosford All Blacks had a week off, but slipped to third after Hungerford beat Farnham Royal.
