WITNEY have signed four players as they seek to build on a promising season.

Full back Jake Thomas, back-row forward Richard Haire and hooker Sam Collins return to the club, while RAF wing Charlie Nell has also joined.

Fly half Ted Landray, who has been involved with Exeter Chiefs academy over the summer, is the only player to leave.

Witney, who open their campaign at home to Bletchley on Saturday, finished fourth in 2013-14 after winning 15 of their 26 matches and coaches Tug Wilson and Ritchie Craig are targeting better this time round.

IN: J Thomas (full back, University of Gloucestershire), R Haire (back-row forward), S Collins (hooker, Shelford), C Nell (wing, RAF).

OUT: T Landray (fly half, Exeter Chiefs academy).

LAST SEASON: 4th.

PREDICTION: Top four.
