BANBURY Bulls secured third place in Midlands 2 West South, despite falling to a 10-3 defeat at the hands of Pinley.
Bulls picked up a bonus point from the defeat and they are an unassailable seven points ahead of Malvern.
Banbury’s final match is against Spartans on April 11.
Pinley scored the only try of the game when Karl Leddington crossed.
Andy Turner converted from the touchline, despite the windy conditions.
Ed Phillips kicked a penalty for Bulls in the second half, while Turner was on target for Pinley.
