MATT Williams knows Henley Hawks will be out for revenge when they make the short trip to take on his Chinnor side tomorrow.

The county’s top two clubs locked horns on the second weekend of the season in National 2 South, with Chinnor prevailing 22-13.

With Hawks languishing in mid-table and Chinnor top, outsiders would expect a home win.

But director of rugby Williams knows that is not a given.

“This is the one match where league positions count for nothing,” he said.

“Every local derby has added intensity.

“We will not be fearing the opposition, but will certainly be respecting them.”

Chinnor change their front row, with Ricky Kano, Koree Britton and Jay Tyack coming in,

Alex Bradley, signed from Ealing, comes in for his debut at flanker with Tom Burns unavailable.

Luke Hibberd starts on the wing, with other changes in the backs positional.

Chinnor let slip a 13-3 lead against Taunton Titans last week as the hosts snatched a 13-13 draw.

Williams knows his side cannot make the same mistakes if they are to stay top.

“There were only two minutes remaining on the running clock and we should have made the game safe,” he said.

“But we made a couple of individual mistakes and paid the price. We must not let it happen again.”

Hawks make one change in their forwards, with Tom Emery coming in as hooker with Stuart Philpott unavailable.

Their backs are strengthened by the return of Liam O’Neill, who has recovered from concussion.

He will play at centre where he will partner Connor Hayhow, who returns after being on duty with London Scottish.

Alan Awcock, away with work commitments for the past three weeks, returns at full back.

Oxford Harlequins ring the changes for their Oxfordshire derby against Witney in South West 1 East.

Ramez Farihani comes in at tight head, while Pete Boulton switches to lock.

George Tierney and Dion Taylor step up to flankers and Adam Neal returns at No 8.

Jack Robinson is named at centre, with Freddie Campbell on the right wing.
