MATT Williams is confident his much-altered Chinnor side will still be up to the task when they travel to Worthing tomorrow.

The head coach is forced to make a whole raft of changes for the National League 2 South game.

No fewer than seven starters from last week’s 36-14 victory over Redingesians are missing for tomorrow’s trip south.

Alex Dancer and Henry Lamont come into the backs, with the other five changes seeing Rhys Lawrence, Jack Gilding, Ben Manning, Jack Ramshaw and Will Bordill starting up front.

Chinnor are unbeaten this season and despite the number of alterations, Williams is in no doubt their fine start to the season can continue.

“The reason I have a big squad is for days like this,” Williams said.

“But I am 100 per cent confident we can go there and do the job.”

Henley Hawks will bid to inflict more misery on Broadstreet when they host the strugglers.

Their rivals, promoted last season, are yet to win a match in the higher division.

Hawks, who lost at Tonbridge Juddians last week despite leading 14-5 at half-time, make just two changes, one of which is positional.

Alan Awcock, at centre, switches with Liam O’Neill who takes his place at full back, while Matthew Tibbatts takes over from David Hyde at No 6.

Henley have won just once in their four matches so far.

Oxford Harlequins make five changes for their South West 1 East match at home to Swindon.

Michael Ojo returns to the second row, Dion Taylor steps up to flanker and Matt White comes in at No 8.

Martin Nutt is named on the wing, while James Stacey switches to centre to replace the injured Tom Edwards.

Elsewhere, leaders Banbury travel to bottom side Marlow looking to make it five straight victories, while Grove host Oxfordshire rivals Bicester and Witney travel to Chippenham.
