CHINNOR aim to attract bumper crowds to Kingsey Road to help them secure a home play-off.

The Thame-based side secured second in National League 2 South last weekend.

And they will face the runners-up of the North equivalent on May 5 for a place in League 1.

Chinnor still have three games to go in the regular season, including two at Kingsey Road against Bury St Edmunds and Clifton.

They now need six more points to finish on a higher total than their northern counterparts, likely to be Sale or Sedgley Park, to earn home advantage.

Chinnor president John Ashfield said: β€œIt would be great to see as many local supporters and friends as possible at our two remaining home games on April 14 and 28.”

CHINNOR are hoping to boost participation in grassroots women's rugby by hosting an Inner Warrior Camp on Friday, April 20.
