Adam Smith scored 16 points as Chipping Norton battled back to defeat Swindon 21-10 at Greystones in Soutehrn Counties North.
Chippy went behind to a converted try and a penalty to leave Chippy reeling.
They finally settled and allowed fly half Smith to slot two penalties.
The hosts continued moving the big Swindon pack around after the break.
Chippy took the lead when scrum half Liam Busby put Smith under the posts. Smith converted and added a penalty to make it 16-10.
Great cover defence from Sam Townsend and Chris Dixon then stopped certain Swindon trys.
Chippy’s decisive try came when Ben Millard turned the ball over and Brion Walker fed Matt Dawson to score.
Witney beat Beaconsfield 15-8.
Fly half Henry Lamb’s chip and Monks’s pass allowed centre Aaron Tustin to run in his first Witney try.
Beaconsfield reduced the arrears at half-time with a penalty, but Witney full back Ed Mitchem replied in kind The hosts bagged a second try following a scrum ten metres out.
Captain and No 8 Jez Hicks picked up and fed flanker Tim Muller, who scampered over for Mitchem to convert.
