MICHAEL Rickner will captain Oxford University at Moseley tonight (7.30).

In the absence of regular skipper John Carter, No 8 Rickner leads a side featuring just two Blues in fly half Sam Egerton and prop Lewis Anderson.

Oxford Harlequins’ Nick Gardner, who has just joined the university, gets a chance to impress at hooker.

Will Boardman, a try scorer in the 30-11 defeat to Durham University, is on the wing.
