THOMAS Terry Suddenly at the John Radcliffe Hospital on 17th April 2019, aged 80 years. Much loved Dad, Grandfather, Father-in-Law and Step Father. Funeral service to take place at Kingsdown Crematorium, Swindon on Wednesday 8th May at 12.45 pm. No flowers please. Does Reality Exist? April 28th, 2019
Terry was an excellent first 'boss' at Witney Sports Centre: Firm and fair. When I was a somewhat self-opionionated youngster, he helped me develop skills which equipped me for my career in teaching.
We shared a long term love of politics, often disagreeing, but sharing and learning from our often heated discussions. To the end, we agreed to differ on some points.
I feel honoured to have shared a passion for sport with Terry. More recently as armchair rugby fans.
Terry accompanied me on my first visit to Twickenham with my teaching colleagues, certainly an education for me.
Our thoughts and condolences are offered to Ali, Alex and their families.
Terry will always be remembered as a larger than life character within our family.
I feel honoured to have shared so many happy and sad times with Terry and his family.
