BURFORD Leslie William Passed away peacefully in the John Radcliffe Hospital on 8th September aged 67 years. Much loved Dad and Grampy. Leslie was a friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A funeral service will take place at South Oxfordshire Crematorium on Wednesday 13th October 2021 at 11am. Please wear colourful comfortable clothes. Family flowers only, however donations in lieu of flowers may be given on the day for Diabetes UK and Kidney Research UK. Thank you for getting in touch. Your dad told me you were his whole world, and that you brought a lot of joy to his life. I would very much like to come tomorrow but it depends if I can manage to rearrange some commitments. I promise to do my very best to be there, but if I can’t make it, you can be sure I will be thinking of you and Leslie as he takes his final journey xxx

So sad to hear of Leslie’s passing, he was part of our fire service ‘family’, and we kids used to meet up at the fire service club every weekend. We had so much fun and were all very close. Glad I got to spend a couple of hours with Leslie in recent years, reminiscing on all the good times. Goodnight and God bless Leslie, see you again one day xxx
