CHERWELL DISTRICT COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 BICESTER FOOTPATH NO.7 (PART) DIVERSION ORDER 2019 The above Order was made on the 1 August 2019 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order will be to divert the section of the Bicester Footpath No.7 which runs for approximately 447m and commences at National Grid Reference (NGR) 5685 2208 (point A on the ordermap), to NGR SP 5641 2205 (point C on the order map) and create an alternative footpath on to a line which runs for approximately 494m and commences at NGR SP 5685 2208 (point A on the ordermap), to NGR SP 5641 2205 (point Con the ordermap), where it re-joins on to the existing line of Bicester Footpath No.7 as indicated on the order map. Full site descriptions of the existing and alternative footpaths are shown on the schedule of the Order. Copies of the Order and Map have been deposited and may be seen free of charge at the main reception, Cherwell District Council, Bodicote House, Bodicote and Franklins House, Bicester from 9am to 4pm (weekdays). Copies of the Order and Map are available for purchase at a cost of 50 pence. Alternatively, an electronic copy is available and can be e-mailed upon written request to prow@ cherwellandsouthnorthants.gov.uk. There is no charge for an e-mailed version.
Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Mrs J Humphreys, Shared Legal Services, Law and Governance, Cherwell District Council, Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX15 4AA or by email to prow@ cherwellandsouthnorthants.gov.uknotlaterthan6September 2019. Please state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are subsequently withdrawn, Cherwell District Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation, representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
