Date of Order: 24 May 2021 Coming into force: 6 June 2021 Notice is hereby given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make an order to facilitate the holding of the 'Maggies' Everesting Challenge' Charity bike ride on Sunday 6 June 2021. It is promoted by Pip Dingle, Centre Fundraising Manager, Maggie's Oxford, Old Road, Oxford, 0X3 7LE. The County Council is satisfied that it is not appropriate for the event to be held off road. Exemptions are included for emergency services and subject to the safety and progress of the race, for controlled access to property which is only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for the closure will be signed to the south via Howe Road/Howe Hill, Christmas Common and vice versa.
