Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Alvescot Bridleway 144/15/10 and Footpath 271/1/10 Closure
Date of Order: 4 May 2021 Coming into force: 10 May 2021 This Order is being introduced for the replacement of failed bridge over Broadwell Brook which is anticipated to be completed 18 June 2021. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily bridleway 144/15/10 and footpath 271/1/10 that lead to the brook. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed sections. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The recommended alternative route for those affected by the closure is via Calcroft Lane, Broadwell Road, Station Road and Lower Farm Cottages. Pedestrians could use footpath 114/9/10 and 271/11/10 as alternative shorter route. Bridleway 271/16/20 and footpath 271/1/20 could also provide an alternative route.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T8715/AC)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Idbury - Road from A424 Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 19 April 2021 Coming into force: 26 April 2021 This Order is being introduced to install a new communications connection Kiosk which is anticipated to be completed 4 May 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the unnamed road from the A424 to Idbury. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Idbury Road, Stow Road, Merrymouth Road, A424, road to Idbury and vice versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T8S95/AC)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Charlbury, Enstone Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 4 May 2021 Coming into force: 10 May 2021 This Order is being introduced because of installation of fibre optic cables works which are anticipated to be complete18 May 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length / section of Enstone Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Browns Lane, Market Street, Thames Street, Nineacres Lane, Enstone Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. 8344/AC)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Charlbury, Thames Street
Prohibition of Vehicles Date of Order: 19 April 2021 Coming into force: 26 April 2021 This Order is being introduced because of fibre optic cables installation works which is anticipated to take 2 weeks to be completed. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles using that length of Thames Street from the Baptist Church to the junction with Nineacres Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Nine Acres Lane (B4439) - Enstone Road - Market Street and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.
