A large imposing house, with over 1700 sq feet of accommodation, this spacious house was built by Bloor homes, and sits in a lovely plot with a large driveway, the kitchen and bathroom need some updating but this has all the potential of a large family home.

A handsome reconstituted Cotswold stone detached family house built by Bloor Homes Ltd in 1994 on the edge of this popular residential area.

The accommodation comprises a spacious entrance hall with under stairs storage cupboard and staircase to landing. Off the hall there's a cloakroom with low level WC and hand basin. The lounge has an attractive bay window to the front and a feature mock fireplace with a coal effect gas fire. Double doors in the lounge open into the adjacent dining room which in turn has patio doors into the rear garden. There is a useful study with fitted book cases. A fitted kitchen with light oak base cupboards and drawers, matching wall cupboards, integrated double oven, gas hob, dishwasher and fridge. From here an archway provides open plan access into the adjoining breakfast room which in turn leads into the utility room.

At first floor level, the master bedroom has a good range of fitted wardrobes and cupboards and an en suite shower room. There are two further double bedrooms and a good sized single and the family bathroom has a white suite consisting of panel bath with Myra shower over, plus bidet, low level WC and hand basin.

The integral double garage has twin up and over doors plus eaves storage space, lighting and power. The front garden is laid to two lawns dissected by a paviour drive with twin parking spaces in front of the garage and a natural stone wall forms the front boundary. The rear garden is again laid mainly to lawn with an area of patio under a corner pergola and mature borders of trees and shrubs.

Tetbury, often referred to as the gateway to the Cotswolds, and once voted by Country Life magazine as the third most desirable town in the country, is a thriving historic Cotswold market town situated less than half an hour from both the M4 and M5 motorways and within easy reach of Cirencester, Cheltenham, Bath, Bristol and Swindon. There is good access to Kemble Railway Station with regular Intercity services to London and other regional commercial centres.

Tetbury is well known for its royal houses with HRH The Prince of Wales at Highgrove House, and Gatcombe Park the home of The Princess Royal both close by. Tetbury boasts an exciting range of shops including specialist boutiques, city standard delicatessens, the Highgrove Shop, two supermarkets and many fine antique shops. The town has an excellent variety of hotels, restaurants, cafes and brasseries offering a mouth-watering range of cuisine.

There is an excellent range of schools in the area including Westonbirt Preparatory and Senior Schools (3 – 18 years). There is also Beaudesert Park at Minchinhampton together with popular state primary and secondary schools in and around Tetbury.

A visit to the Tourist Information Office will provide you with a map of the area showing some of our local attractions including the world famous Westonbirt Arboretum, or the nearby Cotswold Water Park or perhaps the Abbey and Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury.
