THE third annual Cogges Beer and Cider Festival takes place this weekend.

More than 40 beers and ciders brewed within 30 miles of Witney’s Cogges Manor Farm museum will be on sale at the bar.

The event raises money for the Cogges Heritage Trust, which runs the museum.

The festival takes place in the museum’s Wheat Barn on Friday and Saturday from 6.30pm to 11.30pm.

Tickets cost £8 in advance and £10 on the door. Please note the evening events are for over-18s only.

On Saturday there will be a family afternoon from 1pm to 5pm, including live music, a bouncy castle, Aunt Sally, croquet, superhero wrestling, giant chess and food stalls.
