THE stories of men from Bampton who lost their lives serving their country are told in a special exhibition at the village library.
We Will Remember Them looks behind the names on the three war memorials in the village, from the First World War until the present day.
The information for the exhibition, organised to mark this year’s centenary of the outbreak of the First World War, was compiled by Tony Page, 86, who has written a 132-page book to accompany the exhibition.
It is open from 10.30am- 12.30pm and 2-4pm, from Monday to Saturday, and from 2.30-4.30pm on Sundays, until Sunday, November 30. The book is on sale at the library.
