Schoolchildren have been asked to look out for each other when crossing roads by firefighters.
They visited Standlake Primary School to pass on the message to pupils and parents during Road Safety Week earlier this month.
Firefighters taught children, including six-year-old Ella Hardy, pictured with her father Jon Hardy, who is a watch manager at Eynsham fire station, how to make decisions for themselves about road safety.
Between 2003 and last year, 107 pedestrians aged 15 or under were killed or seriously injured in Oxfordshire.
County council road safety officer Julie Jones said: “There was a lot of enthusiasm from the children and the parents.
“They were keen to learn more about the little steps to teach their children how to stay safe.”
