A TRAFFIC order set to prevent motorists from parking around Woodstock’s Market Square was suspended one day before coming into force.
The experimental order was due to come into effect on Thursday and last for up to 18 months.
Its aim was to help reduce the difficulties bus drivers face when trying to turn in the Market Square.
However, after consulting on the plans, and as a result of the comments received, the county council decided to suspend the traffic order and further investigate the needs of people in the area.
