AS EXCITEMENT builds ahead of Saturday's royal wedding, the bride and groom to-be reportedly relaxed in an Oxfordshire cottage.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle escaped to a picturesque four-bedroom bolthole in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds at the weekend, The Sun reports today.

The tabloid said actress Meghan, 36, 'is known to adore the countryside around the wooded hideaway in the north Oxfordshire hills'.

The Cotswolds encompasses much of West Oxfordshire including the village of Great Tew - home to the Beckhams' estate as well as exclusive members' club and celebrity magnet Soho Farmhouse, where Ms Markle is said to have had her hen party.
