BLENHEIM Palace will run its first foraging courses next month.

Guests will spend up to three hours walking through the palace grounds identifying edible and poisonous plants, flowers, fruits and mushrooms.

There will be breaks for homemade refreshments, including wild soup and elderflower, and the day will end with a lunch based on what has been found.

The first course will meet at 12pm on August 12 and costs £45 for adults and £22.50 for under 16s, while under 12s go free.
