LOCAL police are urging drivers to not block their line of sight through their back windows after releasing dash camera footage showing an emergency vehicle being held up.
In the footage, the police car swerves around in the outside lane to try to attract the driver in front's attention, but the motorist appears oblivious - presumably because of limited visibility in their mirrors.
In a tweet, police wrote: "Please, if you’re driving somewhere nice with the family to make the most of this sunny weather, make sure you can see out (of) your back window.
"Otherwise you will likely not see an emergency vehicles blue lights driving to an emergency and hold them up unnecessarily."
