OXFORD MAGISTRATES'

RACHEL MASON, 34, of Cricket Road, Oxford, was convicted of assaulting a man at Cowley Road, Oxford, on July 4 as well as being in breach of a suspended sentence. She was fined £60 and must pay compensation of £50 and a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £200.

FREDERICK BUTLER, 37, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted begging in a public place at Magdalen Street, Oxford, on August 11. He was fined £15 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

PAUL WIGGINS, 59, of Plowman Tower, Westlands Drive, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly at George Street, Oxford, on August 14. He was given a conditional discharge for six months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

VOLEMAR GONCALVES, 56, of Stockleys Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man at Oxford on March 17. he was ordered to pay compensation of £75.

ASHA KUMA-LAL, 46, of Oxford Road, Cowley, Oxford, admitted harassment breach of a restraining order and assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty on September 1 at Parsons Place, Oxford. She was made subject to a community order to include alcohol treatment requirement for nine months and a rehabilitation activity requirement for 15 days. She must also pay compensation of £50.

SAMUEL HARVEY, 30, of Cricket Road, Oxford, admitted possession of a lock knife and a kitchen pairing knife without lawful authority at Oxford on June 16. He was made subject to a a community order to include a rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

ABDUL BANARAS, 31, of Littlemore Hospital, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman at George Street, Oxford, on September 24. He was jailed for 28 days suspended for two years and must pay compensation of £300, a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £85.

LEE DOYLE, 33, of Songers Close, Botley, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information relating to a driver between March 29 and April 26 at Banbury. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

MARIAN MICU, 45, of West Street, Banbury, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on July 15 at a Petrol Filling Station at Cherwell Street, Banbury. Had 79 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £230 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

CHARLOTTE MARSHALL, 30, of Dunstan Avenue, Chipping Norton, was convicted of stealing jewellery valued at £1,500 at Chipping Norton on October 31 and fraud by false representation at Coles the Jewellers, Chipping Norton, on November 7 by selling a bracelet valued at £90 claiming it was her grandmothers. She was jailed for 20 weeks suspended for 12 months and made subject to a community order to include a drug rehabilitation requirement for six months and a rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days. She must also pay compensation of £90.

REBECCA TREMLETT, 21, of Donnington Bridge Road, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend rehabilitation activity requirement on May 24 and June 21. Her original community order was revoked and she was made subject to a new community order to include a drug rehabilitation requirement for six months and rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days.

MATTHEW COTTERILL, 33, of Stevenson Close, Bicester, admitted failing to co-operate with a preliminary roadside breath test on July 29 at Stoke Lyne, Oxfordshire, and failing to provide a specimen for analysis at Banbury on July 29. He was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

MARTIN POTTER, 34, of Lambs Crescent, Banbury, was convicted of using threatening words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of another likely to cause distress or alarm on June 1 at Banbury as well as breaching a previously imposed suspended sentence and failing to surrender to custody on August 22. He was fined £160 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £100.

SEAN WALSH, 47, of Hayward Drive, Carterton, admitted assaulting a woman and causing criminal damage to a pair of sunglasses at Upper Heyford on July 20. He was fined £923 and must pay a victim surcharge of £92, court costs of £85 and compensation of £100 and was made subject to a restraining order against his victim.

JANE BALZER, 63, of Cherry Close, Kidlington, was convicted of speeding by driving 36 mph in a 30 mph area at Grove Road, Bladon, on January 18. She was fined £130 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

LEON COLE, 21, of Almar Road, Banbury, admitted using threatening words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, distress or alarm at Middleton Road, Banbury, on August 12. He was fined £40 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40.
