HUNDREDS of people flocked to the outskirts of Witney for a dazzling fireworks display and an evening of entertainment.
Residents from across West Oxfordshire celebrated Bonfire Night 2018 at the Witney Fireworks Spectacular on Sunday, at Witney Rugby Football Club's Hailey Road ground.
The kaleidoscopic display was the main event, but a whole range of activities were held for children and adults alike.
A hotly-contested best dressed Guy competition ended with the winner on top of the bonfire, while a range of refreshments and fairground rides kept stomachs full and children busy.
Much was made of Blenheim Palace's disappointing event, but several successful displays took place elsewhere in the district.
Hanborough Musical Fireworks attacked the senses, Burford's offering lit up the skies above the picturesque Cotswold town and Standlake's show raised vital funds for 1st Standlake and Cokethorpe Sea Scouts.
