ICE cream maker Graham MacDonald is promoting shops at Oxford’s Covered Market on YouTube.
The video sharing platform features Mr MacDonald, who runs the iScream gelateria, making different flavours in the back of the store.
A series of YouTube videos of different traders at the market are being made by landlords the city council.
Mr MacDonald, who runs the family business, said: “Three years ago, funnily enough, we opened on one of the hottest days of the year and it’s been just been bang right from the word go.
“Key to our success is making it fresh every single day with the best quality milk I can buy.
“In the summer I can make up 10 different fruits, we also like to source the fruit locally - I pick a lot from hedgerows such as wild plum and strawberries.”
Further videos will feature the Covered Market’s new Greek street food restaurant, The Souvlaki Brothers, established florist The Garden, and frame store, Covered Arts & Framing Services.
The market, which opened in 1774, features more 50 individual businesses selling food, gifts, shoes, fashion, flowers and jewellery.
The council is investing £1.8m to refurbish the roof, with work taking place over four years. The roof has a timber frame and is constructed from traditional Welsh Slate.
