A FAST food giant is set to open its first outlet in an Oxfordshire town.
Burger King is due to move into the Orchard Centre in Didcot, the centre's operator has confirmed.
The chain has been seen recruiting for staff including a restaurant manager recently and now a spokeswoman for Hammerson, who run the centre, has said it will be moving in.
It is believed negotiations are in at an early stage and no more details, including the exact opening date, have been revealed.
Burger King is understood to be making an offer for unit 5 in the older part of the shopping centre, opposite Superdrug and Robert Dyas.
Many residents have long wished for a major fast food name to open in the town centre with the nearest currently being McDonald's in Milton.
