A DRIVER suffered a head injury after crashing into a parked car in Oxford this afternoon.
Paramedics attended the collision, which happened near Cheney School in Headington, shortly after 12.30pm.
A South Central Ambulance Service spokesman said a 999 call came in at 12.32pm, reporting the incident between Cheney Lane and an unnamed road.
The driver involved was described as a woman in her 40s, who had sustained a head injury.
An ambulance was sent to the scene and after initial assessment and treatment, the woman was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
SCAS did not confirm if her injury was serious.
Oxford Bus Company tweeted about an 'incident' in the area, warning passengers that some of its services have been affected.

The collision caused delays around the busy nearby junction connecting Warneford Lane, Gipsy Lane, Roosevelt Drive and Old Road.
