A POLISH deli in Witney could have its licence revoked for selling 'smuggled' cigarettes which do not show correct health warnings.
Oxfordshire Trading Standards has applied to review the premises licence of Witney Polish Deli, on Corn Street, under the grounds of preventing crime and disorder.
A letter sent to West Oxfordshire District Council on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council's interim director for Public Health said the cigarette packages 'were not labelled in English as required'.

The letter also states the cigarettes 'were not UK Duty Paid', adding that it is illegal to keep smuggled goods on licensed premises.
The district council's Licensing Panel will determine the application at the council offices at Woodgreen, Witney, at 10am tomorrow.
Witney Polish Deli was contacted for comment.
