He faces a trial over two counts of fraud by abuse of position and another for fraud by false representation.
A pre-trial review of Mr Arnold’s case was heard at Inner London Crown Court on Friday, ahead of a trial from March 11.
An OxLEP spokesman said: “We can confirm that as of February 14, Mr Arnold was no longer employed by the company. The allegations currently before the courts pre-date his involvement with us and we do not propose to comment on this matter further.”
