THE LONG-running saga over Witney Town Council's policy on antisemitism has finally been resolved.
Members adopted the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's formal definition of antisemitism at this month's full council meeting.
The motion, submitted by East ward councillor Duncan Enright, asked the council to 'commit to using it to better understand and act against anti-Jewish hatred'.
Councillors initially discussed accepting the IHRA definition back in October, but the motion was never passed.

This led to the resignation of ex-council chief Dean Temple after a no confidence motion was submitted regarding his conduct on social media after the meeting.
