A FUNDRAISER to help repatriate the body of Witney backpacker Catherine Shaw has hit it's target.

More than £13,000 has been raised to bring home Ms Shaw's body after she was found dead in Guatemala.

The 23-year-old was found on Monday, March 11, after she had been missing for almost one week.

An appeal page was set up by the Lucie Blackman Trust which supported the search for Ms Shaw and the family.

It set a target of £12,000 and had hit the target with a few days.

A post-mortem into the backpacker's death found Ms Shaw died of a traumatic brain injury which friends believe was as a result of a fall.
