POLICE are hunting two men after a wallet was stolen from a parked car in Faringdon.

The force has released CCTV images of the duo, who police would like to speak to in connection with the theft earlier this month.

Between 5pm on Wednesday, May 8 and 6am on Thursday, May 9, a car parked on Westland Road was broken into and a wallet stolen.

A card from the wallet was later used in various places to buy scratch cards and tobacco.

Investigating officer, PC Lorraine O’Connor, based at Wantage police station said: “We are releasing CCTV images of two men who may have vital information in connection with this incident.

“We would ask the men, or anyone who recognises the men to please contact us.”
