A BATTLE of Britain veteran will relive his days flying Spitfires at a village fete tomorrow.
Allan Scott, 97, will be at Ramsden Fete, near Witney, to sign copies of his autobiography, Born to Survive, and speak about his experiences during the war.
The fete features a Spitfire fly-over, which will take place between 1pm and 3pm.
Read also: Veterans honour D-Day hero at country churchMr Scott took part in the Battle of Britain and the Siege of Malta from 1940 to 1942, earning the Distinguished Flying Medal.
He went on to become a test pilot, flying more than 80 types of aircraft.
The Ramsden Fete takes place between midday and 4pm and also features a dog show and craft fair, among other attractions.
