A WANTAGE woman will remember her mum at an inaugural fundraiser on Sunday.

Money at the Henley 5km and 10km Walk at the Culden Faw Estates goes to the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

Victoria Wise's mother died in January despite the best efforts of Air Ambulance staff, after she sustained a traumatic brain injury in a fall.

She said: “I chose to do the Henley Walk because it would have been something both my mum and I would have (done) together. My family and I will be forever grateful for the care from the amazing crew, even though the situation was bleak.”

Tickets are available on the day at the gate, with registration opening between 10am and 2pm.

The event is completely off road and unsuitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users.
