WITNEY has retained its status as a Fairtrade town.
Town mayor, Duncan Enright, received a certificate from Wendy Maddison and Michael Richards, of Witney Area Fair Trade Action Group (WAFTAG) at the town council last month.
Fairtrade status must be renewed every few years, with WAFTAG needing to demonstrate shops' support for Fairtrade in the town.
